Course description
The Legacy Cross-Country course takes it up a notch with a challenging mix of punchy climbs, forested single-track, fast descents, rock gardens, technical switchbacks, and fast traverses while providing options for racers of all abilities. Racers pass through the area in front of the lodge several times each lap to provide outstanding spectator opportunities.

Cat 1 Women: Junior 15-16, Junior 17-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-45 (11:00 am Saturday Start).
Cat 2 Men: 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, Clydesdale 39 and under or 40+ (200# or more) & Single Speed (Wave A 8:00 am Saturday Start). Cat 2 Men (continued): Junior 15-16, Junior 17-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 (Wave B 9:30 am Saturday Start).
Cat 2 Women: Junior 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, & 40-44 (Wave A 8:00 am Saturday Start).
Cat 3 Men: Junior 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over, & Clydesdale 39 and under or 40+ (200# or more) (9:30 am Sunday Start).
Cat 3 Women: Junior 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over (9:30am Sunday Start).
Masters (Cat 1 & Cat 2) Men: 55-59, 60 & over, these classes race the Cat 2 course, (Wave A 8:00 am Saturday Start).
Masters (Cat 1 & Cat 2) Women: 45-49, 50 & over, these classes race the Cat 2 course and times, (Wave A 8:00 am Saturday Start).
Junior (Male & Female): 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 (6:00 pm Saturday Start).

Awards:
- Cat 1 men a minimum of $780 over 10 places
- Cat 1 Women a minimum of $535 over 6 places
Cat 1 age class winners will medals to top 3 (prize money recipients excluded).
Cat 2, Cat 3 and Junior age classes will earn medals 3-5 deep. Medals to top 3 (prize money recipients excluded).
Registration
- Register online at www.wors.org before midnight June 20, 2011*.
*NOTE: For Pro racers, all registration closes at 5:00 pm FRIDAY. - On-site registration: Friday 2-7 pm, Sat. 7 am until 1/2 hour before the start of your race.

GoPro, makers of the Hero Cam, gifted two cameras to TeamWORS for use at Wisconsin Off Road Series races. Sonia D, racing for Team Alterra, was generous enough to try out the new WORS GoPro HERO Cam dedicated to WORS Women at the Subaru Cup Legacy Cross Country race on June 21. To try something different, we mounted the camera facing backwards on her seat post. Sonia and the women’s Cat 2 field left the start line in the mid-afternoon, when the temperature and humidity were highest. The 5-minute video includes highlights from Sonia’s first, hot lap of the course!
