After two successful years hosting a top level national mountain bike race, WORS is looking forward to bringing North America’s top cross-country mountain bike racers back the Midwest. The stars of MTB racing will once again congregate at Wisconsin’s Nordic Mountain on August 17-19, 2012 to compete in the Subaru Cup. This year’s event follows the London Olympics and will bring all the post olympic excitement with it.

The Subaru Cup will be one of six premier mountain bike race events held in America during the 2011 racing season. North America’s top male and female racers, including those looking to represented the United States and Canada in the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London, will compete at the Subaru Cup.
WORS makes the Subaru Cup an outstanding event for every racer and their fans
WORS is America’s largest state mountain bike racing series, and in addition to the Pro races, the Subaru Cup will host a full slate of amateur racing with ability categories and age classes for everyone. Outstanding spectator turnout is a hallmark of events hosted by the Wisconsin Off Road Series, and the 2011 Subaru Cup is sure to be the highlight of the 2011 Midwest mountain bike racing season. This event also looks tolso be a major summer gathering for the cycling industry in the Midwest and will include demos, displays, and free gifts for those in attendance. WORS and WORS sponsors will offer a full slate of festival activities including tours of the race course, wake boarding, onsite camping, food and entertainment, and much more.

Pro Short Track presented by Salty Wench Organic Sea Salt Seasonings
A cross between a criterium, BMX, cyclo-cross and single-track, the Short Track race is super fast and spectator friendly. The Subaru Cup will host a Pro Short Track event on Sunday June 26, with cash prizes for Pro men and women.
